Cafe Press...Candidate Swag Sales Barometer

2012 Election Merchandise | Bumper Stickers, Buttons & Pins, T Shirts & More

Do the t-shirt sales for 2012 candidates reflect the real pulse of popular opinion for the coming election? I think so, and it's certainly a guage of passion for the most involved and committed politophiles. Cafe Press' Cultural Barometer, which tracks candidate merchandise sales, made news a few months ago...but it's worth checking in again to see how things are going. Two interesting finds: despite Santorum's new found popularity, his sales have been slipping. And Obama's sluggish sales have finally started to pick up...and so has Anti-Obama gear (which is still in the lead).

Check it out HERE.

Hope that means a little extra spending cash for our friends at Doo Doo Economics...and, no we don't think Obama is Satan. I'm sure he's a perfectly nice person to share a beer with. But socialism and his policies about how to 'fix' the world are turning out to be pretty damn evil.
