If I wanted America to fail

Drudge and Michell Malkin have already posted this video by Free Market America, so you may have seen it...but it is so, SO GOOD that it is worth sharing again. A beautifully articulated statement about draconian, oppressive, and corrupt environmental policies...and a perfect example of how free-minded America needs to use media to counter progressive pop-culture.

Spring Break

Off on our first real road trip with the kids...to our favorite place on earth. Forecast looks perfect, hotel across the street from the Pizza Noodle, and a case of every pediatric cold, pink eye, and flu medication I could legally obtain. Here's to everyone making it back in one piece!

P.S. A playlist I've accumulated over the years for long drives through the desert on warm summer nights...chances are you'll be able to tell exactly when I went through highschool. iTunes "Desert Road"

New Video to Counter Kony 2012

The sequal to KONY 2012 is supposed to drop this week, but in the meantime, the Mara Foundation has posted a series of three videos trying to counter the negative image of Uganda displayed in last month's wildly successful campaign. There is nothing wrong with showing the world how breathtaking Uganda is, however, they miss the point that KONY 2012 isn't about Uganda, but about awarness of Kony himself. Still not sure why everyone wants to vilify effortst to shine a light on this outlaw...unless his continued existence justifies the payrolls of unscrupulous do-gooders...but that would be heartless speculation. It's sort of a mute point anyway. As of tonight, Uganda 2012 - More than Kony 2012 has only had 1400 views in 10 days. Sadly, the producers really don't know the first thing about social media or PR to help themselves help Uganda...
